Liberty Tana Lawn® Quilt For Ukraine Quilt-Along

Our hearts have been with the people of Ukraine over the last few months and we’ve come up with a practical way to help out and show love to some of those people in crisis.  We are joining together with our sewing community to make a beautiful EPP (English Paper Pieced) quilt.  Join in our sewalong to help make a quilt to help the people of Ukraine.  We are asking that people commit to making an EPP block for the quilt in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.  Let’s flood our Alice Caroline social media feed with the colours of Ukraine with each block we lovingly make. Alice Caroline will then sew all the blocks together to make a quilt. We will make more than one quilt if we receive lots of blocks!

If you would like to make one block for our Quilt for Ukraine then please sign up here.

The finished quilt will be auctioned when it is completed with 100% of proceeds being donated to the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal.

Fabrics:  We would like the fabrics to be exclusively yellow and blue (Ukrainian colours). In order that the finished quilt looks unified the fabrics must be Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics only with white Tana Lawn D to be used for the white.  We would love it if you used your fabric stash to make your block in the colours of the Ukrainian flag but if you don’t have quite the right fabrics then you can find several scrap packs here.  These include the correct white and enough fabric needed for one quilt block.

Finished block size is approximately 9″ square (23cm) and we suggest a 1/4″ seam allowance for the EPP shapes.
