PATTERN: Spring Bouquet Appliqué Pattern

Say ‘Hello Spring’ and infuse a little colour into your home with our Spring Bouquet pattern. The simple joy of a hand-picked posy of daffodils, lilac and tulips can brighten up the dullest of days, but they never last as long as you’d like. So, for a floral fix that will never fade, create your very own ‘Spring Bouquet’ in your favourite Liberty prints and plains. With a choice of slogans – ‘Hello Spring!’ or ‘Happy Easter’ you can use it in a variety of ways – appliqué onto a cushion, create a wall hanging, embellish a tablecloth for a special celebration, adorn a T-shirt, or re-create it in paper, or fabric for card-making. The possibilities are endless!

You will receive: Fully illustrated instructions including cutting layouts and templates.

YOU WILL NEED: Scissors, pins, sewing machine, Pilot Frixion Gel Pen (or any other heat-erasable fabric marker, but always test on scrap fabric first according to manufacturer instructions) or chalk pencil, thread to match each fabric being appliquéd and thread for top stitching detail, embroidery thread for slogans (if sewing by hand), hand sewing needle, embroidery needle.
Background fabric: 100% cotton or linen would be ideal, but depending on your end-use, any fabric would be fine as long as it is not too stretchy, minimum 11” x 8½” (27.9cm x 21.6cm) to fit the design on to.
Iron-on transfer adhesive (such as Bondaweb): Approx. 25” x 10” (63.5cm x 25.5cm).
