Our quilt kits make sewing easy, simple and fun! We’ll send you a box with the fabric and instructions you need to make beautiful quilt blocks which come together to make your heirloom queen-sized quilt, with easy-to-follow instructions and video tutorials to guide you.
The Flower Garden quilt is made of English paper pieced hexagons that tesselate to form a lovely hand-sewn pattern, with seasonal Liberty prints and timeless Classics accompanying Alice Caroline exclusives — the whole kit contains approximately 165 different Liberty fabrics.
If you’re new to sewing or patchworking, this a great place to start your journey! We’ll walk you through every step of the way with a host of sewing hints and tips. Even if you’re an experienced sewist, an Alice Caroline quilt kit makes for a fun, rewarding project: perfect your sewing skills while you relax and lose yourself in the process! You can work through the kit at your own pace. It’s easy to pick up and put down, letting you fit your hobby into a busy life when time allows.

All the Liberty Tana Lawn® fabrics, pre-cut English paper piecing templates, and all the instructions and diagrams you will need to complete your quilt. This kit was originally one of our Quilt Block of the Month subscriptions, so you will receive 12 boxes in your shipment. Work through them one at a time: start with box 1 and gradually add blocks, watching your finished quilt emerge!
You will need:
Medium or fine hand sewing needles
A glue pen or stick to glue-baste fabric to the paper pieces, such as the Sewline glue pen
Thread
Iron and ironing board
A sewing machine — a basic one will do!
Wadding, sized 75×78″ (~191×198cm)
Backing fabric, sized 75×78″ (~191×198cm). We also offer specially selected pre-cut Liberty fabric to back your quilt!
Binding fabric: either Tana Lawn 11×54″ (~28×137cm), or quilting cotton 15×44″ (~38×112cm). We also offer specially selected Liberty fabric binding!
