Discover the timeless charm of Liberty’s most beloved print. Betsy has captivated our hearts since it was first designed for Liberty Fabrics in 1933. Designed by the enigmatic ‘DS’, whose work makes up many favourite Liberty designs. Betsy has been part of the Classics collection since 1982 and we especially love designing our own colour palettes for this print in our exclusive collections.

I’ve always loved playing with fabrics, finding particular joy in combining colours. Finding a snippet of Liberty amongst my grandmother’s quilting stash of worn-out dresses and vintage fabrics was always a highlight and, from there, my passion for Liberty fabrics grew.
I’ve been running my business for over 10 years and love spending time designing sewing patterns and kits. Many of my kits are stocked in the iconic Liberty of London store which is always so exciting when I visit. One of my favourite things to do is designing new quilts – I simply adore getting lost in both design and Liberty fabric choosing. Alice xoxo
