This Curiosities of Christmas quilt is a great way to showcase your favourite festive Liberty prints! Suitable for an adventurous beginner sewer, construction of this quilt uses a combination of both straight and curved stitching using the sewing machine. You will learn how to make half square triangles which are simple to sew but visually complicated once they are put together. The pictoral scenes of the holiday season use the raw edge appliqué technique which, once learnt, will open up
a whole new world of sewing possibilities! Raw edge appliqué is a bit like collaging with fabric and whilst easy to do, it does require some concentration and a slower speed setting on your machine, if possible.

14 coloured Liberty Tana Lawn® Fabrics for the patchwok, appliqué and binding. Quality ivory quilting cotton for the background.
