Suitable for an adventurous beginner sewer, this Christmas quilt kit uses a combination of both straight and curved stitching using the sewing machine. You will learn how to make half square triangles which are simple to sew but visually complicated once they are put together. The pictoral scenes of the holiday season use the raw edge appliqué technique which, once learnt, will open up a whole new world of sewing possibilities!
While raw-edge appliqué is easy to pick up, it does require some concentration and a slower machine speed. Once learned, it opens up endless possibilities for future Christmas sewing projects and beyond.
