If you’ve ever wondered how to make a quilt, this is a brilliant introduction to it. We do the cutting out for you so you can go straight to the lovely sewing part.

With easy to follow instructions, access to helpful video tutorials and Live quilt-along events we will gently guide you through the process. By the end, you will have made a beautiful Liberty and gingham quilt – something you maybe never thought possible!

Sewing your squares together: Alice will guide you through sewing your squares into pairs and then into bigger blocks. See your blocks and quilt grow with simple techniques.
Learn about: consistent seam allowances, sewing accurately, pressing your seams and creating a beautiful finished quilt top.
Complete project: You will be making this alongside a lovely sewing community – this will encourage you to complete your lovely project – NO rush, but support where needed. AND best of all having loads of FUN along the way.

Hello, I'm Alice

I LOVE to sew and have done since I was a young child, from my first wonky rabbit 😆 applique project to the quilts I make today. I’ve learnt so much over the years and would love to share some of those skills with you or your loved ones. I want to share the joy of sewing and the wonderful sense of achievement it can bring.

I’ve been running my business for over 10 years and love spending time designing sewing patterns and kits. Many of my kits are stocked in the iconic Liberty of London store which is always so exciting when I visit. I LOVE designing our Alice Caroline quilts – we will guide you through your sewing journey and through learning how to make your very first patchwork quilt. Alice xoxo

What is included in my Quilt Kit?

You will receive:

All you need to make the quilt top (choose from 4 beautiful colours): Specially curated selection of pre-cut fabric squares in Liberty Tana Lawn, beautiful ginghams, stripes and plain fabrics.
Quilt backing and binding fabric – all pre-cut for ease of use.
Fully illustrated printed paper instructions.
All of the fabric to make a matching cushion cover.
Access to our Member’s Hub where full video tutorials will be for each step of the process.
Access to our Live sewing Hangouts – 23rd – 25th April.

What else will I need?

You will need:

Thread
A sewing machine – a basic one is fine. This whole quilt is made with a sewing machine.
Fabric scissors.
Wadding – there is an option to buy this on our website pre-cut. Wadding is in the middle of a quilt – it is sandwiched in between the quilt front and back. This helps with the quilt being lovely and warm and also gives it body..

Is this quilt suitable for beginners?

Yes – this quilt is designed for people who don’t currently know how to sew, as are the tutorials. You can still join if you do know how to sew – the project will progress any skills you already have and give you guidance through the process.

What is the finished size of the quilt?

Your finished quilt measures: 45” x 45” (115.5cm x 115.5cm) or 41″ x 50″ (104cm x 127cm). You choose the size depending on whether you would like a square or rectangular quilt.
Your finished cushion cover measures: 18″ x 18″ (45.7cm x 45.7cm)

If I join, when will my kit arrive and when will my payment be taken?

Your quilt kit will start to ship on the 9th April 2026. Full payment will be taken upon purchase.

How much does shipping cost?

UK: FREE
International Standard: FREE
International Tracked: £8.95

Can I cancel if I change my mind?

You can cancel at any time before the 9th April 2026 when the quilt kits will start to ship. After this point, you may cancel and get a full refund when you return the full quilt kit to us.

What is included in my on-line only version

You will receive a digital version of the pattern only and all of the online tutorials. You will also have full access to the live Quilt-Along events.

Can I order anything else with the Gingham Garden Quilt?

You may order the wadding product or threads which will be dispatched from 9th April at the same time as the quilt kits. Please do NOT order anything else with this product as these will be held up until 9th April when this product dispatches.
