Liberty’s crepe de chine silk is a versatile favourite, with a soft handle and a natural lustre thanks to its 16-momme base. Its surface has a gentle crispness and a hint of matte roughness, making it one of the easiest silks to sew. Luxe yet laidback, it’s perfect for fluid designs from daytime shirting to sophisticated, flowing eveningwear. The last image is an example of these properties, and the other images show the silk print you will receive. Please also note: this fabric is a plain green colour with no pattern. The waviness in the product photo is an artefact of the image, and is not present on the actual plain green fabric.
