Liberty Dresden Flower Clock Kit – English Paper Piecing (EPP)
Keep one eye on the time and another on a rainbow of pretty Liberty Fabrics with this Dresden Flower Clock kit. Sew the 12 petals together in neat rainbow order from reds to purples, or choose a more random arrangement of colour such as the one pictured- the choice is yours! Construction of this clock uses the English Paper Pieced (EPP) method and a traditional shape known as the Dresden Plate. Often formed of 16 ‘petals’, this version with just 12 petals is perfect for a clock. If new to the technique you will find that EPP is actually quite a simple (and addictive!) way to hand sew.
This is a project well suited for a beginner sewer and is constructed entirely by hand with a needle and thread.

You will need: Scissors, pins, erasable fabric marker (test on a small piece of the background fabric first before using on the main project), AA battery, iron, hand sewing needle and thread. Optional: water-soluble fabric glue pen, sellotape, starch
Please note: This kit will contain both black and white hour and minute clock hands. However, the hands may be easily painted a different colour if desired, simply source a paint or spray paint in the colour of your choice and re-colour the hands before assembling the clock.
Not suitable for children due to small parts.
