Created in 2015 by the Liberty studio to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carrol’s classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Alice W is inspired by a 1936 archival print from the enigmatic designer D.S., who was also behind many of other favourite Liberty prints of the era. Look closely between the daisies to discover tiny playing card suits, forming a unique subpattern.

To use, place your craft project over the smaller embroidery hoop, press the outer hoop down over it, and tighten the brass screw to secure, pulling your fabric taut as you do.
