To celebrate Liberty’s 150th Anniversary they have launched Retold, a bold collection that weaves together their past, present and future in a story skilfully told through the new designs.
Alice reveals her thoughts on this collection: “I am SO excited about this 150th Anniversary Collection. I’ve been waiting to see what Liberty would release in such an iconic collection and I have not been disappointed – this is probably my favourite seasonal collection since 2013 as it features so many STUNNING florals in gorgeous, happy and uplifting colourways! I will be making a lot of dresses from this collection and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!”
Colleen’s Orchard was hand-painted in 1960 by Colleen Farr, who established Liberty’s first in-house design studio in the early 1950s. The design captures the essence of summer with juicy cherries strewn across leafy branches.
