Meticulously redrawn to highlight the design’s intricate linework, Indigo Morris was based on ‘Honeysuckle’ – a block-printed furnishing fabric originally created by William Morris in 1876. One of Morris’s most celebrated designs, this complex botanical showcases stylised parrot tulips and honeysuckle woven amongst a trellis of leafy vines. Visualised through a monochrome lens, this well-known classic is elevated to even more dramatic heights.

For Spring/Summer 2024, The Liberty Kaleidoscope takes us on the most vivid journey of all – through the rainbow, into a prismatic universe of colour. Practical and emotive, subjective yet universal, the artistic application of colour has fascinated humanity for tens of thousands of years. In this collection, the Liberty Fabrics designers explore the cultural, natural and historical components of different colour categories.

Liberty’s Tana Lawn® cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in Liberty’s own Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.
