This stylised floral design was inspired and based upon the skilled technique of rosemaling, a traditional folk painting style originating in Norway. Carefully applied in layers, delicate gouache paints create beautiful symmetrical trails, awash with decorative motifs, tonal colours, and textural marks.

Printed in Liberty’s own Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.
