FREE PATTERN : Falling Leaves Garland Instant Download
Celebrate the changing autumnal colour palette with this Falling Leaves Garland. Maple, chestnut, hazel, oak and ash leaves are re-created in beautiful fabric, easily strung up and enjoyed indoors, safe from the increasingly chilly breeze.
Raw edge appliqué is a bit like collaging with fabric and whilst easy to do, it does require some concentration and a slower speed setting on your machine, if possible. You could also sew the garland using only hand sewing if desired. We have included instructions for stitching the leaf veins for some fun detailing, but you could skip this step if you wished for a more simple look. Have fun playing and let your imagination float away like a leaf in the wind!
For our samples we have used embroidery thread to hand stitch the vein details, and a mixture of Liberty Tana Lawn® (in Mitsi Valeria D and Capel G) and Liberty Quilting Cotton (in Emily Belle Sunshine Yellow, Tangerine and Caterpillar) as the main fabrics. We even have put together a fabric scrap bundle of these exact Liberty prints so you can achieve the same look (Note: felt and ribbon are not included in the bundle). Find the bundle here. If not Liberty, any other light to medium weight 100% cotton fabric would also suit.

You can choose ANY Liberty Fabrics Tana Lawn® fabric that is on our website, please write the fabric name and code in the “order notes” section at checkout. Otherwise we will send you Wiltshire Q (pictured first) or Mitsi Valeria E fabric (pictured second).
Your will receive one piece sized 14″ x 54″ (35.5cm x 137cm).
Cut this fabric into six 2″ x 54″ Strips to make binding for your Aurora Stars Tricolour Quilt (as per the instructions in the final BOM that you will receive in Month 12)

Fabrics 1-50: 9” x 13½” (22.9cm x 34.3cm) Liberty Tana Lawn® Fabrics in a rainbow running from 1-50. (Our Ultimate Rainbow Fabric Pack – 50 Fabrics is absolutely perfect for this quilt and contains almost all of the same fabrics Alice has used in her sample. Be sure to add to basket, checkout (no charge) and download the free fabric key on this listing which matches that 50 fabric pack exactly and tells you what fabrics to use for each fabric numbers 1-50 – super handy!)
Border 2 fabric: 4” x 54” (10.2cm x 137cm) (Alice has used Liberty Tana Lawn® Emma & Georgina N, however any other dark pink Liberty Tana Lawn® would also look lovely)

Denim & Rose Simple Irish Chain Full Quilt Kit

This beautiful design is a ‘single’ Irish Chain, the easiest of all the classic Irish Chain quilts. This version involves making 9 Patch blocks and alternating them with a simple square block to achieve the chain effect. It is constructed using easy patchwork techniques. Quick to master, you will be whipping up 9 Patch blocks in no time at all!
Along with the dusty blue and vintage pink Liberty printed fabrics, the white background fabric is Mitsi White on White, a tone-on-tone Liberty Tana Lawn® printed with white blossoms. This floral white fabric adds delicacy and pretty detail across the entire front of the quilt. See closer detail of this in images 2-4.

Liberty Floral Print Origami Flower Kit
This Origami Kit is a great present for any Japanese crafting enthusiast.
The kit includes: 75 Liberty printed origami sheets 6×6″ and an instruction guide. All kept safe in a Liberty printed box.
The kit features 5 different double sided sheet designs, with two different colourways or the print in each sheet. One Margaret Annie and 4 Mitsi sheets. There are 15 sheets of each design.
