Liberty Pumpkins — Autumn Charm Pack Table Decorations

These Liberty fabric pumpkins are a fun autumn sewing project made from our 5 inch charm packs in seasonal colours. Louise from the studio created two sizes using the autumn colourway charm selection — the larger makes a beautiful table centrepiece while the smaller doubles as a pincushion when the season is over.

“I love seasonal decorations and wanted to create something for my table for autumn, so thought I’d have a go at pumpkins as the segments give the opportunity to use lots of different Liberty prints, although they would look just as nice all in one colour if you wished.”

“Having the two different sizes is great as I might use the smaller one as a pincushion at the end of the season. After a bit of research on YouTube I decided on a method and was pleased to be able to use Alice Caroline 5″ charm squares for the project – the autumn colourway pack has the perfect selection of colours.”

“I finished off the larger pumpkin with a leaf made from a leather scrap, and the smaller one from a recycled ribbon – the perfect excuse to get my hot glue gun out!”
