Exclusive Liberty Tana Lawn® Fabric Felicite Cherry Blossom X

A beautiful new colour way of Felicite with cherry blossom pinks and pale sage green leaves. Felicite is one of my favourite Liberty prints and is a rose trail that was designed for Liberty Fabrics in 1933 by the mysterious designer D.S.  Cherry blossoms in Japan are known as Sakura, where this flower is a little bit of a national obsession.  In ancient times the blooming cherry blossoms marked the beginning of the spring planting season’.

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Hanami, this new Alice Caroline exclusive collection celebrates the transient beauty of flowers.  Hanami means ‘flower viewing’ in Japanese and is the tradition of enjoying the beauty of spring blossoms.  It’s synonymous with friends and families meeting together beneath the trees enjoying picnics surrounded by beautiful blossom – the perfect inspiration for Liberty Exclusive prints.
