This Rainbow Mini Sampler Quilt is a great way to explore a selection of shapes and designs using pretty Liberty Fabric. Suitable for an advancing beginner sewer, it is constructed using a mixture of techniques which will help to add to your sewing skills. English Paper Piecing (EPP) is a traditional hand sewing quilting method which is simple and, as you will find, quite addictive! The raw edge appliqueฬ technique may be completed either by hand or with a sewing machine, the choice is up to you. It does require a bit of concentration but is easily mastered and there is no end to the items you can make with this method of appliqueฬ!

YOU WILL NEED
Iron, pins, thread to match each fabric, sewing machine (it is handy to be able to drop the feed dog) or hand sewing needle, ruler, cutting mat, scissors or rotary cutter
Optional: free motion quilting foot, washable adhesive glue stick
Wadding: approx 19โ x 19โ (48.5cm x 48.5cm)
Iron-on transfer adhesive (such as Bondaweb): minimum approx. 11โ x 271โ2โ (28cm x 70cm)
