Don’t make these 4 mistakes…
Don’t start your sewing journey off on the wrong foot (sewing pun intended 🤪)
These are 4 things every beginner sewer should know before picking up a needle and thread.

1. Skipping the pins!
Always pin your fabric before sewing. It takes two minutes and makes sure that everything stays where it’s supposed to be.
2. Not pressing your seams
We know stopping to iron feels like extra work but pressed seams make your projects significantly more accurate.
It also prevents puckers and distortions when your pieces are joined together.

3. Rushing
Take your time, check your measurements twice and get lost in the process!
4. Never cleaning your machine
Fluff and lint are the enemy of a happy sewing machine.
Give it a good clean every few projects and it will love you back!
