Hot girl summer starts with the right fabric! ☀️
With another heatwave on the horizon here in the UK, here’s a few things you should be wearing to keep you cool this summer, and things you really shouldn’t!

✅ Lawn – big yes!
Super fine, lightweight cotton that feels like wearing almost nothing!
Liberty Tana Alan is the gold standard. It’s soft, floaty and genuinely gorgeous to wear in this heat.
✅ Linen
Every wardrobe needs a staple pair of linen trousers!
It may wrinkle but linen actively pulls heat away from your skin to keep you cool ❄️
✅ Cotton
A summer staple. Cotton is breathable and allows heat to escape from your body.
✅ Chambray
Gives the classic denim look without being heavy
Chambray absorbs moisture well and dries quickly.
❌ Polyester – big no no!
Doesn’t breathe, traps heat and makes everything worse 😩
Keep away from polyester this summer.
❌ Nylon
Synthetic and clingy and about as breathable as a plastic bag 🤣
Traps heat and moisture!
❌ Acrylic
Very sweaty! The worst offender after polyester 😩
