I’m really excited to showcase this stunning Christmas Cathedral Windows Cushion. It’s been designed by Suzanne Campion one of my customers. I approached her earlier on in the year to make something using my exclusive fabrics. You may remember the cushion she made.
As a result of this, lots of people asked for the pattern at The Festival of Quilts. I asked Suzanne if she would ‘guest design’ the pattern for us. Here it is. Suzanne has made the cushion in these gorgeous Christmas colours.
I’m selling this as a kit which is out now; the downloadable pattern will be available soon. It uses a lot of fabric but the end result is really worth it. This is one of the most beautiful cushions I think I’ve ever seen. The instructions show you how easy the ‘Cathedral Window’ technique is. On first glance, it looks tricky but is surprisingly simple.
There was much love for this cushion when it arrived in the studio. It showcases the Liberty red fabrics so beautifully.
It’s a lovely cushion to snuggle up to. If you would like to make this cushion, you can buy the kit here.
I, and everyone at the Alice Caroline studio and office would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas.
