A really cute Liberty top made with a sweet fabric from the new Autumn/Winter collection. The top has a really nice scoop neckline with flattering pleating towards the bustline. Great to wear with jeans and trainers for a casual look or would look great too with more formal trousers. I really love this fabric – it’s fun yet sophisticated!
This one is without sleeves, but the pattern also has options for 3/4 sleeves. The Liberty of London fabric ‘Hilandmich’ is taken from an indigo print in a silk pattern book dated 1900. All of the prints from the newest Liberty Autumn/Winter 15 collection are inspired from historical fashion books from the Liberty archives. The ‘Synchronicity’ collection draws colours and patterns from an array of garments spanning 6 centuries of design. I have curated a wide choice from the new collection which you can peruse on my website at your leisure.
Thanks so much to Emma Thompson for making this for me – it looks great!
