I thought I’d share this really super sweet little girls Liberty girls dress with you today. It’s just so lovely don’t you think? It would look great for either daywear or for a party / special occasion. The fabric in this dress comes from the latest Liberty of London autumn/winter collection called ‘Synchronicity’. I have chosen this fabric as I love the fun details in the figures and animals – absolutely perfect for children’s clothes. The figures are surrounded by floral, animal and bird details which make it even more fun. Although I have used the fabric to make clothing, it would be great for quilting and patchwork too.
The Liberty ‘Lotta’ fabric this lovely dress is made from was created by Lotta Nieminen, an illustrator and graphic designer from Helsinki, Finland. After working for fashion magazine Trendi, Pentagram design and RoanCo studio, Lotta now runs her own New York studio.

The dress is based on Simplicity New Look pattern 1452A and was made for Alice Caroline by Ros Tendler – thanks so much Ros -I think it looks really great.
