Tracy has made this wonderful Summer dress using ‘Summer in the Sun’ Fabric from the Liberty SS26 collection.
A few words from Tracy:
This dress is based on the Trapeze Dress pattern, with a few thoughtful additions to make it feel extra special. I’ve added a gathered skirt for more fullness, and it’s fully lined with a soft puffball shape that gives it such a lovely, floaty feel. A gentle frill at the sleeve cuffs adds a pretty finishing touch, and of course, I couldn’t resist adding pockets, because every dress needs them.
It’s wonderfully full and easy to wear, perfect for summer days out and even a visit to a quilt show. The fabric itself feels so nostalgic, reminding me of my childhood in the 70s…
A perfect summer print and dress
We are currently sold out of the ‘Summer in the Sun’ print, however we have similar prints available!
