Spring is peeking through today with some lovely sunshine breaking through the dark days of winter. It’s lovely to feel a little warmer and brighter so I thought I would share with you the latest creation made for Alice Caroline by Yvonne Stephenson.
We have fallen in love with the ‘Hubert’ fabric this skirt is made from. It’s a really bold springtime print from the new Alice in Wonderland themed spring / summer 2015 collection from Liberty Art fabrics.
Perfect for your springtime and Easter wardrobe, the stunning stripes of daffodils are growing up the fabric in rows. The fabric design is taken from a hand painted original. It works fabulously with this style of skirt, which can be paired with a plain top and gorgeous matching crochet collar for an even more stunning effect.
Yvonne used a pattern from a magazine, Simplicity 1464 is a similar pleated skirt pattern.
