Day 10: How To Make Fabric Tape | 12 Days of Handmade Christmas

12 Days of Handmade Christmas – Day 10: Fabric Tape

This fabric tape is so easy to make – it’s so addictive and great for using up and spare scraps of fabric you may have lying around. Give it a go!

You will need:
Fabric (we recommend 5″ Liberty Tana Lawn Charm Squares)
Double-sided tape
Fabric scissors

1. Stick the tape to the wrong side of the fabric and finger press firmly to avoid any wrinkles or bumps.
2. Once secure, use fabric scissors to trim around the tape as close as you can.
3. Peel backing from the tape and stick your new Liberty tape to anything you fancy or store away to use in the future!

Top tip: Liberty Tana Lawn doesn’t fray so it’s great for this project as it is smooth and fine, meaning it will adhere to the tape easily, without falling off.

Come back tomorrow for Day 11 of our 12 Days of Handmade Christmas where we’ll be using our Liberty tape to create something special!
