Liberty Fabric Covered Photo Frame

Liberty Betsy Photo Frame

Ellie has been crafting with our new exclusive Betsy Apricot Blossom and has upcycled an old photo frame. This is a super easy, no-sew project.

“I’ve been meaning to try this project for months but have kept putting it off. I’m not sure why as it was so easy and quick to make and also very addictive! I now need to stock up on some frames so I can make even more in all my favourite fabrics. The beautiful new exclusives arriving in the studio gave me the much needed motivation that I needed to start the project. They’re so pretty! Here’s how I made it…”

what you'll need

“I cut my fabric into strips large enough to cover each edge of the frame (4 strips in total). Securing the fabric down first with a blob of Mod Podge, I roughly cut each piece on the diagonal from the centre corner of the frame to the outer corner of the frame (see image below) and wrapped the fabric around the edges. I applied more Mod Podge on top and repeated the process until each edge was covered. Patiently wait for it to dry and ta-da, you have a lovely new photo frame!”
