Introducing Liberty Fabric’s newest capsule collection, Summer Garden. This collection celebrates the spirit of gatherings and garden parties enjoyed on sweltering summer days. Handpicked from the Liberty archive, the prints offer a mix of Arts and Crafts influences and meandering Tree of Life designs, alongside classic florals. The result is a contemporary palette of pastel and vivid jewel tones, reflective of the seasonal flowers in bloom.
Pipkin Meadow
This small botanical of stylised roses and pinks was originally created and printed by Liberty in 1962. Redrawn and recoloured exclusively for the Summer Garden collection, this trailing meadow is both timeless and versatile.
Louisianna Bouquet
A meadow of scattered spring flowers, Louisiana Bouquet was first printed for Liberty in 1963. Drawn with a fine outline and coloured in bright hues, this joyous floral features daisies, poppies, forget-me-nots and cornflowers.
Ellen Rose
Ellen Rose was first created in the 1930s but also printed for Liberty during the early 1990s. A larger scale botanical, it consists of beautifully arranged rose and daisy bouquets, surrounded by dancing sprigs and scattered foliage.
Lulworth Cove
Originally created in 1938, Lulworth Cove is a charming botanical featuring a variety of dense garden flowers. The zesty and bright colour palette brings this design to life, showcasing a blooming meadow on a warm summer’s day.
Painterly Rose
Originally included in Liberty’s SS 1997 seasonal collection, this romantic botanical is reminiscent of our much-loved classic design, Carline. A symphony of nostalgic buds and roses, this striking pattern offers a contemporary take on a timeless classic.
Robin’s Allotment
Robin’s allotment is a contemporary twist to the history of Arts and Crafts at Liberty. The design draws inspiration from the style of William Morris with reference to the iconic design ’Strawberry Thief’. The fruit tree in this new interpretation is depicted as a series of convoluted leafy branches, hiding juicy peaches and stylised blossom flowers within its mirrored layout.
Tapestry Tree
Based on a hand-painted artwork discovered in the Liberty archive, Tapestry Tree is a floral print with a strong nod to the classic Tree of Life style design. The beautiful flowery trails and stylised leaves create an elegant layout, reminiscent of richly embroidered tapestries.
