Liberty Quilt — Beautiful Red Pepper Be Squared Design in Pink and Blue

This Liberty quilt uses Red Pepper Quilts’ popular Be Squared pattern by Rita Hodge, reimagined in pink and blue Tana Lawn prints from the autumn winter collection. With all straight sewing lines, this modern patchwork design is a versatile beginner-friendly quilt that showcases how beautifully Liberty fabric works in place of solid colour blocks.

The pattern for the quilt is by the amazing Rita Hodge from Red Pepper Quilts.  It’s called the ‘Be Squared Quilt Pattern’ – click here to buy the pattern.  I love the Red Pepper designs and so it made perfect sense to use it to make a Liberty quilt.

Beautiful Red Pepper Liberty Quilt

It’s a modern quilt design and Rita originally designed it using solid block colourful fabrics.  I’ve chosen Liberty prints and put lovely colours together which gives the quilt a different, but lovely feel.

The pattern uses all straight sewing lines so it’s a really good beginners quilt, but you do need a little experience in rotary cutting and straight line sewing.

You can view the autumn / winter Liberty collection here.  Simply choose the colours you want to use to make your  Liberty quilt and get started.  I’ve got lots of blues and pinks in stock at the moment so if you like the look of this quilt then you can make one really similar.
