Pretty Exclusive Liberty Fabric Bunting — Blossom Collection

Liberty Fabric Bunting

Sarah from the studio made this beautiful bunting for her daughter’s university room using all three fabrics from our exclusive Liberty Blossom Collection. With 24 triangles in Betsy, Felicite and Wiltshire on cream tape, it’s a simple sewing project that makes a lovely handmade gift.

“My daughter loves pink and as she’s just headed off to university we spent the summer accumulating pink additions to decorate her room in halls. When the exclusive fabrics came in, I couldn’t resist making bunting to enhance the decoration in her room.”

“I cut a triangle to a size I liked and cut 8 triangles from each of the three fabrics. I also cut 24 triangles of white to back them. I sewed down two sides of each pair of triangles, one pink with one plain right sides together with approximately 1/4″ seams. I turned the triangles right sides out and arranged them along some cream tape. I folded the tape over the open edge of the triangles and sewed along the tape until all triangles had been added to the bunting. I finished by adding a loop of tape to each end”

“I’m so pleased with the end result, the fabrics coordinate beautifully and the bunting looks wonderful. I know it will be well received!”
