“My younger sister was at Alice Caroline for a week’s work experience earlier this year whilst the new exclusives, The Blossom Collection, were at the beginning of their development. She got to see the start of the exclusive design process and the first ideas for the collection. One of the many fun things she also got to do was to have a go at designing some new colourways of Betsy herself. I knew when this exclusive collection was finally here that I wanted to make my sister something to sort of ‘mark the occasion’ and remind her of the time she got to work with her amazing big sis!”

I usually make a standard envelope back cushion but I’ve been seeing lots of these ruffle trim cushions lately and have been loving them. Betsy Apricot Blossom is such a delicate colourway too so I knew a frill would look lovely.”
